Bermuda Triangle Heists

Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to the fifth and final episode of "Torpedo's Advice". Honestly, this particular mini-series is probably the most popular of the three. We've had a good run, but don't worry. You will see plenty of us in the new T.O.O.N. story. In our last episode, we discussed Getting your stuff and getting out as quickly as you can. But there is one more thing I need to tell you prospective thieves out there. It is very crucial, and will be a make or break in deciding your career as a thief. Hahaha, let's dive right in!

You are not done yet. There is still one last step to this procedure, and perhaps the most important one of all: Escaping! Actually, this is the most important step there is, and if you do not have a method of escaping, then you really shouldn't be stealing in the first place. Damn, don't be an idiot! If you do not have a car, you better have your running shoes on. Or create a distraction. Or do something! In either case, your job is to get as far away from the area as possible. Keep in mind, you should take it upon yourself to avoid attracting attention. After all, you did steal something. Those damn cops will be on your ass faster than you can say "bitches". Get to somewhere secret and secluded immediately, such as an underground hideout or your own basement. Afterwards, change your clothes and hide all your equipment. This will help ensure you won’t get caught! Lay low for a couple days. Don't just show your face in public. People might suspect you, or worse...recognize you.

Now, it's time to discuss the ideal escape situation. There are many, such as getaway cars, running, parkour action, and even disappearing acts. Some are more convenient than others, and a lot of them are much simpler to do. I've asked Stinger and Discharge to explain their ideal method of escaping and why.

Stinger: I would just haul ass. There is nothing much you can do after you perform the heist other than run. As for me, since I'm not usually within the building when we steal, I have to find a quick getaway in a wide open space. This can be a field, a city, or even some parking lot. I have the most options when running, but I'm also the most visible. It becomes important as a mastermind to plan your escape route accordingly, in case for some rare reason, shit goes down!
Discharge: I'll be honest, I think running is the pussy way of getting out of trouble. I don't usually run, and that may also be because I'm the slowest, but I fight my way out. I'm the strongest, and I can usually clear a path in a decent amount of time. It's a hassle running and tiring yourself out. Because of my specialty, I am usually cornered by other guards as well. So, rather than run, I just fight my way through, and it helps keep the attention away from Stinger and Torpedo.
Torpedo: I have to run. There's no other way to put it. One, I'm usually carrying the treasure or artifact we came on the heist for, so I can't just stay back and fight like Discharge. And I'm also the fastest, so out of the three of us, I have the best chance of escaping. I like to look for the option that leaves me out in the open the least. I'm a fan of stealth, and if the enemy can't see me, well that's just an advantage on my turf. That's why I feel like the entire mission depends on me, even though it doesn't. You have to have that mindset.

And with that, we wrap up not only the last episode of Torpedo's Advice, but also the last entry in the Bermuda Triangle Heists series. I wanna thank all of you for reading and listening to us preach about stealing and thievery. Hopefully, we passed on some useful traits to you guys. You are free to implement any of these strategies into your heists. But keep in mind, if we cross paths, you may end up getting a beat down from Discharge.
This has been an episode of "Torpedo's Advice". Peace out!
The fifth and final episode of "Torpedo's Advice", and the last entry in the series. It was a good one, and I'm sure the BTH will be featured in many more stories, as cameos. I know they play a rather prominent role in tomorrow's story, so that's good.
