Welcome back to the show! It’s been a couple weeks, I apologize. Planning for a wedding takes a lot of your time, as you may or may not know. Partners Month was a blast, and I can’t wait for the upcoming 2016 Eon Awards! That will be awesome. Anyway, tonight’s theme is Platinum Pegasus. Let’s get this show on the road!

My guest tonight is the succubus member of the Vigilante. She’s got the charm to lure men in, and she’s got the power to fight off the likes of criminals such as Darknox. You do not want to mess with her. Please welcome to the show Essence!
Vibravo: Welcome to the show, Essence. It’s great to have you on.
Essence: Thanks, Vibravo. It’s always nice to get invited onto ORN.
Vibravo: I also thank you for not wearing inappropriate attire, something certain characters I’ve interviewed fail to understand.
Essence: Well, I mean…you’re going to be a married man soon. It would be pointless for me to try and go after someone like you.
Vibravo: Fair point. Anyway, back to the interview. Your most recent appearance was in Heroes: Ultra Tournament, where you represented the Vigilantes along with the other members from Platinum Pegasus. How was that?
Essence: The story was great. I enjoyed seeing the other teams once again. I actually didn’t know there were other characters in Eternia’s series actually.
Vibravo: Yeah, Eternia’s a bit of a wild card. You also didn’t get as much spotlight as some of the others.
Essence: True, but then again, my goal is to support Ryne. It’s only natural that I take a backseat.
Vibravo: Fair point. Anyway, being a succubus, it must be rather annoying having men lust over you, wouldn’t you say so?
Essence: Not really. As a succubus, it’s my job to have men lust over me. So, in actuality, it’s usually me doing most of the work anyway.
Vibravo: That’s interesting. I…don’t really know much about succubi. Yaleia would probably know though.
Essence: Is she a succubus too?
Vibravo: No, she’s just my incredibly smart and beautiful fiancé.
Essence: Aww, how sweet! Where is she? Or, I guess she wouldn’t appear on your show, since this is technically your show.
Vibravo: Actually, she’s been sick for a while. I’ve been taking care of her these past couple of days.
Essence: I see.
Vibravo: Also, just a quick note for my audience, in case you were wondering why there hasn’t been many episodes from either of our shows, that is the main reason.
Essence: Well, to be fair, you aren’t sick. How come there wasn’t an episode last week?
Vibravo: I’m a very busy man, as you may know. I have things to do as well.
Essence: Hey, I ain’t saying anything bad. I was just questioning, that’s all.
Vibravo: It’s all good. I do hope Yaleia gets better though.
Essence: I hope so too. I like reading her news series. It’s super funny, and it’s unfortunate that some people don’t understand that she’s joking.
Vibravo: I mean, she is rich. It’s not really affecting her too much if her series is taken seriously or not.
Essence: That’s a fair point. Do you guys sleep in separate beds, or do you still sleep in the same bed as her?
Vibravo: Well, of course we share the same bed. In fact, she probably enjoys it more since I’m there to keep her warm at night.
Essence: You know…the best way to keep each other warm at night is to sleep naked.
Vibravo: Very true. However, I do not wish to go further into this topic, as it will raise the age limit that will be set for this episode. So, let’s cut it off here.
Essence: Sorry. You probably want to talk about Platinum Pegasus, right?
Vibravo: I mean, that’s the idea. Unless you had something else in mind?
Essence: What would you like to hear?
Vibravo: Let’s first talk about The Order of Nightmare: Wanted. I think it’s safe to assume that the Vigilantes will be making a return. At the very least, Ryne should be in the story.
Essence: Yep, we’re all in there. And boy, there are a lot of characters in that story. It’s hard to keep track honestly.
Vibravo: Are you able to tell me about some of the new heroes that will appear in that story?
Essence: Umm, I know Firefight is in the story. I think Cloud Nine might be. Other than that, I don’t really remember. My part in the story is very minor, to tell you the truth. Ryne obviously gets the most representation as far as Platinum Pegasus is concerned. Maybe Darknox will get a mention or two, but the rest of us are just support characters.
Vibravo: Are you disappointed?
Essence: Not really. I kind of expected us to not get as much representation anyway. We are a “B-Tier” series, so that already doesn’t help our chances. Plus, it’s not like Heroes, where each series is supposed to get equal representation. This is The Order of Nightmare we are talking about. It’s proportional representation, not equal.
Vibravo: That’s a fair point. Even still though, it must make you a little jealous that allies such as Necria and Torture Droid are constantly receiving almost as much spotlight as the heroes in their respective series.
Essence: It’ll work out. I support Ryne. I think it’s the same situation as ORN compared to Life as a Princess.
Vibravo: I guess that’s true. I never really thought of it like that.
Essence: Happy to spread my knowledge!
Vibravo: Are there any male heroes or allies that you have your eye out for?
Essence: Well, I think Firefight is pretty cute, but he’s taken also. I’m all alone right now.
Vibravo: Are there male succubi in Olympia?
Essence: I think you’re thinking of “incubi”. And yes, there are. But succubi and incubi don’t hook up, or else they perish.
Vibravo: That sucks.
Essence: Not really. They’re all dumb. I prefer my partners to have a little life in them, if you catch my drift…
Vibravo: I feel like that’s a reference to succubi. I won’t catch it. Anyway, I think that’s about it for our interview. Is there anything else you’d like to mention before we wrap things up?
Essence: What day is your wedding?
Vibravo: December 14, 2016.
Essence: You’ve got time. Am I invited?
Vibravo: Sure. If you want to travel all the way from Olympia just to attend our wedding, I won’t object.
Essence: Maybe I’ll find some cute males there?
Vibravo: I mean, I won’t be looking for them, but you’re probably bound to find something. Anyway, thank you for appearing on the show, Essence! I look forward to seeing you soon, probably at the Eon Awards.
Essence: Yeah, definitely! I’ll catch you later!

Up next on the show, we have another segment of “Trivia Tribute”. This time we will be looking at Universal Darkness. I wonder about my darling Phoebe, and I pondered through the stories to see if I could dig up anything noteworthy. Well, let’s see what I could find:
•The Genesis seem to be a combination of the Parashrooms and the Terrorbytes. The Parashrooms use nature and organisms for units. The Terrorbytes use technology and robotics for units.
•These three groups also seem to be inspired by the game Starcraft, where there is a human race, an native-planet race, and a robotic alien race.
•The series is set in the year 2800, yet Phoebe and Saturn are able to visit Earth when Natalie, Eric, Corona, Zoey, Mitsuki, and Celeste are around. How this is possible remains unknown.
-Furthermore, none of the characters from Universal Darkness need any additional method of time-traveling back to help the other heroes in The Order of Nightmare,  despite the fact that there are characters from the past (Showdown, Tombstone), present (Watchman) and the future (Temporalia) who require either outside means or powers in order to time travel.
•This is one of the few series with multiple antagonistic forces in the same story/stories, alongside No-name’s Adventure, The Order of Nightmare, and Hunter of the Universe.
•Phoebe is the tallest female, humanoid hero.
•Phoebe's the only one on the Genesis not named after a planet.
•The Terrorbytes have the most number of named species within its race, with 10.
•Phoebe is the only character in the T.O.O.N. Universe who can transform into anything, including objects much larger than her own mass.
-The Transformation Suit does not alter Phoebe’s voice, only her appearance.
-Whenever Phoebe is overwhelmed or exhausted of her powers, she reverts back to her original form, rather than perish on the spot. This trait alone suggests that she can exploit her suit to simply provide herself more power, although the stories do not show such an exploit.
Universal Darkness: Part 2 – The Parashrooms is the only story of the three with a mature content label, most likely as a result of the Jellinaut mating scene.
Universal Darkness: Part 1 – The Genesis only mentions the Parashrooms. The entire race does not actually make an appearance until the second story.
•In addition to majoring in both Chemistry and Physics, Phoebe also knows a bit of biology and engineering, as she is able to identify organisms on the planet and was able to repair the De-atomizer 2.0.
-It’s also amazing to note that Phoebe was able to fix the De-atomizer 2.0 despite not knowing how the weapon functioned prior.
•The Terrorbytes are capable of dropping nuclear bombs.
•The Terrorbytes are invulnerable to their own attacks, a stark contrast from many of the other series, in which most units are only vulnerable to their own attacks (i.e. The Hunter robots).
•This is one of two series in which a canon scene occurred in a different series from the original. In this case, it was Phoebe and Saturn’s marriage. The only other instance is from Hunter of the Universe, where Statica gave birth to Puria.
-Both of these instances occurred in The Order of Nightmare.
•It’s interesting to note that the Parashrooms have both a base camp and a nest, both of which are completely separate entities.

And now you know a bit more about Universal Darkness. Where’s my second three-part series, huh? I’m waiting…

And finally, for our “Ally of the Week”, let’s take a look at Essence, who hasn’t really been able to establish herself well in the tournament scene. She’s not overly bad, but to say that she’s able to stand with the upper tiers is a false statement.
Essence is one of the few characters in the game that can fly, along with Dusk, Murky, Universa, Lustrous, Luminous, Wavianne, Stygia…ehh, I’m not gonna name them all. The point is, she can fly. It’s unfortunate, because she clocks in as having the slowest flight speed in the game. Whatever she does, Wavianne can do, and faster. Poor Essence is overshadowed by just about everyone. The main culprit in question is her playstyle. With the lack of any useful projectile, Essence is forced to play a rush-down game, which can be quite difficult, as her slow flight speed and only mediocre attack continue to hold her back. To top it off, Essence doesn’t gain the top level Ally Boost from anyone, which further limits her abilities in Team Battles.
However, that’s not to say Essence is a bad character by any means. She has extraordinarily high defense. I’m not sure if there’s something about succubi who are immortal or something in the Greek mythologies, but it doesn’t matter. The point is, she’s durable. Essence also has a very useful Special Ability, called Seductress. It’s an immunity move, which is very useful. It provides her many options for either faking out opponents or bypassing strong moves.
In Team Battles, Essence is not really seen that much. Her slow air speed means that she cannot really follow up on any hit-confirms from her teammate, unless the opponent flies directly at you. Even with Ryne, her Ally Boost isn’t very good. It’s not the maximum, and it also means that characters like Eric and Voltage will overwhelm you with their superior Ally Boosts, whether you’re flying or not.
In my opinion, Essence is one of the characters in dire need of a buff or two. The playstyle she was designed to utilize is not rewarding enough, especially when there are better rush-downs who can also fly (Wavianne). It’s not to say she’s the worst character, of course, but Essence is definitely not a character I would bet on winning in a tournament.
Special Ability I: Arousal - Essence’s first Special Ability. She arouses herself, firing a beam of energy out in front of her. The beam does not do much damage, and it doesn’t go very far. It’s mostly used as a disruptor. It’s stupid.
Special Ability II: Seductress - Essence makes a suggestive pose, which gives her some frames of invincibility. The move works better than a dodge in that the invincibility frames last longer. On the other hand, there is more ending lag in this move. So, it’s a fair trade, I suppose.
Mega Ability: Lilith’s Fate - Essence’s weird Mega Ability. A wave of darkness rushes out in front of her, pushing the opponents outward. The darkness waves are very strong, and it’s possible to literally push your opponents off the screen boundaries.

And that concludes our show. Just a heads up, this week will be the last week of the “ORN Contests”. It’s been interesting, but it’s time for me to end the segment. Congratulations to Team Fireberd. Eric and Torture Droid will be hosting the Eon Awards. How exciting!
Anyway, the final “ORN Contest” shall be “Episodic Series vs. Novel Series”. The teams are as follow:
Team Episode: Eric, Firefight, Yaleia, Yogurt, No-name
Team Novel: Wavianne, Voltage, Dazzle, Frostbite, Phoebe
And that’s it for this week’s episode. Tune in next week for another exciting episode. It’ll be a great one as always! Vibravo signing out!
A new episode of ORN is up, late. After the two-week break, Vibravo returns and interviews one of the main allies from Platinum Pegasus: Essence. He does a "Trivia Tribute", featuring Universal Darkness. Finally, he does the "Ally of the Week", featuring Essence.
This week's "ORN Contest" is "Episodic Series vs. Novel Series". It is also the last ORN Contest that will be done. The teams are:
Team Episode: Eric, Firefight, Yaleia, Yogurt, No-name
Team Novel: Wavianne, Voltage, Dazzle, Frostbite, Phoebe
