Party of Champions 5
Miss Navigator

Our adventurous duo have now made their way into a new town, Tropica; and as the name suggests, this is a tropical town. Yogurt and Domino gazed at all the citizens who wore tropical clothing. Like Rai, there were no streets, and the shops consisted of huts made of straw. For light, the town used torches instead of street lamps.
“Have you ever been here before?” asked Yogurt.
Domino shook her head. “No, I haven’t. Have you?”
“Nope.”
“Are we just going to random towns and exploring?”
“We’re looking for more teammates.” Yogurt spoke. “Particularly a cook.”
“Why a cook?”
“I’m hungry.” Yogurt rubbed his stomach. “Can you cook?”
“Not well…”
Yogurt groaned. “Why couldn’t you be a chef also?”
“Sorry.” Domino commented. “You know, the only thing stopping me from becoming a chef was the fact that I was a slave.”
Yogurt nodded. “Oh, right.”
They continued walking around the city and spotted what looked like a confrontation between an elderly man and a small kid. The man was trying to move out of the way, but the kid was holding a knife, preventing him from moving.
“Please.” The old man begged. “Let me pass.”
The kid shook his head. “I can’t let you do that, you loser.”
Domino motioned to Yogurt. “Look at that!”
Yogurt smirked. “Shall we help him?” He raised his fist and was about to transform it into goo, but something struck the old man before he could react. It was a mace. Surprised, Yogurt and Domino turned to the source. Another young-looking woman was approaching. She was a lot younger than Domino, about 16 or so. She wore a red bandana around her hair, along with a red blouse and black pants. Her hair was messy and unbrushed, and the right leg to her pants was torn. She was notably shorter than the other two…the two being Yogurt and Domino.
In her left hand was the handle to the mace, and in her right was a massive gauntlet, which carried a ball-and-chain. She advanced towards the old man and loomed over him, even though she was shorter than him.
“What’s the problem here?” she asked the boy.
“He stole my food.” The boy cried.
The girl turned to the old man and smashed him into the ground with her gauntlet. The man toppled over to the ground and lay motionless.
Yogurt raised his fist at the girl. “What the heck are you doing?”
The girl glared at him. “And you are?”
“The name’s Yogurt!” he smirked. “And I’m going to become the universe’s greatest fighter of all time!”
“You?” she laughed. “You’re just a kid. What can you do? I bet I could defeat you right now.”
“Is that a challenge?”
“You bet your butt it is.”
Yogurt smirked and reeled his arm back. It turned into pink goo and formed into a fist. The girl’s eyes widened at this phenomena.
“What are you?” she asked.
“I’m a goo-man.” He grinned.
The girl detached her ball and chain from her gauntlet and began swinging it around her head. “Let’s dance, then.”
She tossed the ball forward, and it flew towards the two of them. Domino dived out of the way, but Yogurt sent his fist flying forward. It collided with the steel ball and halted it. The ball fell to the ground, leaving the girl vulnerable. Yogurt sent his fist outward and struck her in the chest, knocking her down to the ground. He then prepared to finish her off, but the boy stepped in front of the two, protecting her.
“Stop it!” he cried. “Don’t kill her!”
Yogurt paused for a moment before chuckling. He reverted his hand back to normal and held out a hand to the girl. “I don’t kill people. That’s not who I am!”
The girl glanced suspiciously at him before accepting the help up. She dusted herself off. “What the heck are you supposed to be?”
“I’m Yogurt.” He replied. “I am going to become the best fighter-”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah…I heard.” She grumbled. “Why are you here then? The best fighter in the universe doesn’t live here, I think.”
“I’m looking for a team.” He replied. “I’m looking for a navigator, a ship owner, a financial adviser, a cook, and a bunch of other people?”
“A navigator?”
Yogurt nodded, and looked at her with interest. “Do you know a navigator?”
She held out her hand. “The name’s Globe. I’m studying maps and trying to assemble an exploration team to explore the universe. I want to travel to every corner of the universe and chart its territory.”
Yogurt grinned at her. “You should join my team!”
“Hmm?”
He transformed his arm into goo and shot it outward at Domino. He grabbed her around the waist and dragged her over to where he was. “This is my first teammate, Domino. She’s a problem-solver!”
Domino smiled. “Hi there. Your name is Globe?”
She nodded. “Are you his girlfriend?”
“Eww, no.” Domino shook her head. “I’m just his traveling partner. He helped me out, so I agreed to join him.”
“How noble.” Globe muttered, “However, I’m afraid I’m not interested in joining your little team.”
“What?” Yogurt cried. “Why not?”
“I don’t like you.” She answered flatly.
“Well, maybe we can change that?”
Globe shook her head. “No, I don’t think so.”
“Do you know any place we can go to spend the night?” asked Domino. “We’ve been walking for a while.”
Globe nodded. “You can stay with us at our hideout until tomorrow morning.”
“Perfect!”
Globe motioned to the small boy and the two of them began leading the way back to their so-called hideout.
Domino turned to Yogurt. “What are your thoughts?”
Yogurt grinned. “I like her! I shall make her a member of my party as well!”
“Are you sure?”
“Of course I’m sure!” Yogurt cracked his knuckles. “I’ve found my navigator, and I’m not gonna rest until she’s mine!”
